Twitter now supports Japanese hashtags



Twitter blog post finally announced its official support for hashtags Japanese.

Hashtags used as a marker of keywords or topics tweets. Increase the # symbol before the word, it automatically creates a link to the results for that keyword search to help users find the tweets on the same subject.

According Asiajin, Japanese characters are not separated by spaces for users to insert extra spaces or punctuation marks before and after the hashtag.

Japan was the first country to be appointed by the International Country Manager of American enterprise microblogging. Twitter be used in the country picked up in recent times as Japanese citizens and the media agencies have the service to disseminate news about the earthquake and tsunami, after which knocked to the more traditional forms of communication.

Although the feature is already available on Twitter, have yet to see the Twitter client that are not Japanese, including the official Twitter application.
