Apple Confirms Mac OS X Lion Starts Tomorrow



During the call the company profits, Apple's CFO Peter Oppenheimer announced that its new operating system, Mac OS X Leo, starting tomorrow. This confirms rumors that have formed in recent days.

OS Leo X, a major update to Apple OS X, bringing radical changes in the OS. The addition of features such as full-screen applications, Launchpad and support services has led some gesture to make correlations between IOS and Apple OS X platforms. This has sparked rumors that Apple could combine the two into one at some point in the future.

Over 250 new features introduced in OS X Lion, with several of them to polish the standard features of OS. Apple also introduced a host of new APIs for developers so they can take advantage of security enhancements and stability similar application sandboxing, and versioning self-restoration of the status of the application. Many of them will be applied to applications by developers now.
